From the Macscene Wiki

  • No links to illegal sources of files or information are allowed. This includes ROM files, "warez," CD images, BIOSs, "cracks," serial numbers, "abandonware," or any other copyrighted material for which you do not have legal permission to distribute. You cannot ask for help on the matter either. On how to burn ISO or any other disk image. If you must comment, the most you could mention on these forums in regard to any of the previous is the phrase "Google it."
  • Do not "bump," or make an insubstantial reply to, a topic that is more than 10 days old. When a topic is old, the conversation is over and nothing more needs to be added, unless it is really important.
  • Do not spam, double post, use too many images/smilies, or type in "1337." Also, if you are using Mac OS X, please, turn on your spell checker by holding the "control" key and left-clicking the text entry area (or just right-click if you have a two-button mouse), highlighting "Spelling," and then clicking on "Check spelling as you type." You may not get a response or may be "flamed" if you don't type in a manner that other people can understand.
  • RTFW, or Read the Wiki. Chances are we will cover your issue soon or we already do. Make sure you browse through the wiki before you make a topic. If it's an obvious question or just something common, chances are we'll put it in the wiki.* Search the forums. This one explains itself. Just click the "Search" link at the top of the forums, and see if your question has been answered already.
  • RTFM, or Read the Manual. This one is also basic. Read what the "Read Me" file says in the emulator you have a question in. If you don't, it's really discouraging to the emulator programmer who made it. No one will want to answer what your question is if it's already on your hard drive.
