ROM Organizer is a program for organizing the ROMs on your Mac. It can access 39,000 ROMs on 23 different systems. ROM Organizer is capable of compressing and renaming ROMs, along with other features. Richard Bannister has stopped working on it, however, and removed all traces of it from his website.
